CHEERS ANNOUNCEMENT:

CalCERTS has notified the California Energy Commission that it will no longer operate as a HERS Provider effective August 2nd, 2024.

What does this mean?

All projects that have been certified in CalCERTS and need to be re-certified in CHEERS will need to go through an Energy company to facilitate that re-certification.

Is there a cost?

There will be a minimum cost for the recertification itself, but there may also be additional cost if anything needs to be corrected, adjusted or changed on the energy calculations.
